Many of Shakespeare’s plays contain numerous references to bees and beekeeping and there are many examples which suggest that both Shakespeare and his audiences had a fair knowledge of the simple facts of the bees. And also Eva Crane, the english biologist, famous for her study of the bees, speaking about Shakespeare, wrote: “it’s suitable to remind ourselves of his awareness of bees and beekeeping.”
Therefore, his sonnet "Where the bee sucks, there suck I", taken from "The tempest", could suggest an hypothesis: 'Hamlet had no doubt ...
